Online Registration to Open August 1!
It's time to start thinking about the 2011 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon. Online registration will officially open at 12:01 am on Sunday, August 1. In honor of our 7th Annual event, we will be offering an opening month discount on the full marathon, half marathon, and relay. You can save $10 on the full, $5 on the half, or $5 on the relay off of our already low price Early Bird Registration prices by registering online during the month of August. Please note that these prices will increase on September 1st, so be sure and take advantage of the savings before the end of August! Click here to register online.

Covenant Health Extends Title Sponsorship for 3 more years
Covenant Health will continue its support of the Knoxville Track Club's largest road race by sponsoring the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon for the next three years, officials recently announced. Covenant Health has been the presenting sponsor of the marathon since the inaugural event in 2005.

“We are very pleased to continue our sponsorship of an event that promotes individual fitness among children and adults and a healthier community overall,” said Tony Spezia, president and CEO of Covenant Health. “As East Tennessee’s largest health system, Covenant Health is committed to providing programs to improve the health and quality of life in East Tennessee, and our marathon sponsorship supports this mission.”
