“The past two weeks have been a whirlwind! At Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center we picked up some great tips to get through the holidays from their nutrition services department, and we’re in the process of completing fitness assessments to measure our fitness levels. Once we wrap up our runner’s screenings with the folks at Fort Sanders Therapy Centers and we’re fitted with the right shoes from New Balance of Knoxville, we should be on track and ready to get serious about our training!”
For a wonderful basic training plan for either the full or half marathon, see Coach Kane's training program.
As health promotions coordinator for Covenant Health, Missy develops and promotes programs to support Covenant Health's mission of service as the leader in community health improvement.
