The Health & Fitness Expo will be an event of the Fifth Annual Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon being held on Sunday, March 29, 2009. We experienced tremendous success in our first four years and preparations are well under way for a spectacular fifth marathon event to be held in our lovely city.
The Health and Fitness Expo will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2009 at the Knoxville Convention and
Exhibition
Center, adjacent to World’s Fair Park. The Expo, which is the center of all pre-race activities, will include exhibitors featuring running and fitness apparel, shoes and other supplies, as well as products and services in fitness, sports and nutrition. The Expo will also feature exhibitors in other areas of interest to participants, families, and friends. We anticipate having 5,500 event participants all of whom are required to visit the Expo during scheduled hours to obtain their official race packet. With friends and families and the fact that the Expo is free to the general public, we expect total Expo attendance to be between 12,000 and 15,000 people!
